Saturday, May 19th 6-10pm $35 donation at the door helps build wells in Burkina Faso, West Africa!
The rural community of Napenkara, in the western Banfora region of Burkina Faso, West Africa, has no electrical service, no sewer system, no phone or internet service and no source of clean drinking water. The lack of potable water is responsible for a high incidence of diarrhea, cholera, typhoid and sometimes death. Children who are able to attend the local schoolhouse often miss class in order to fetch water.
The Engineers Without Borders Chicagoland Chapter will travel to Napenkara to collaborate with the village to assess their water needs. When successful, they will return this year to help drill two wells, with pumps and purification equipment.

Las Manos Gallery presents an exhibition featuring Chicago artists under the age of 25. The show will include all forms of media and captures the style and essence of young artists in America.
With the effects of political and economic unrest in the past decade, advancing technology, the internet and social uprising, this exhibition begs the question what makes today's young artists different?
